Disney : Star Wars VIII' in 2017 !!
The company shared the news at its annual shareholder meeting in San Francisco, where investors re-elected 10 board members including Iger and defeated a proposal to split the roles of CEO and chairman.
Iger said “Rogue One” will star Oscar best actress nominee Felicity Jones. British director Gareth Edwards, who did the “Godzilla” remake, had previously been announced as director of the spin-off.
Disney has also started work on a sequel to “Frozen,” the best-selling animated movie of all time and a global merchandising phenomenon that helped push the media giant to record profits.
Directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee are returning for the sequel, Disney said. No release date was set for the follow-up to “Frozen”, a surprise smash in 2013 that brought in nearly $1.3 billion in global ticket sales.
Anticipated films
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year, directed by J.J. Abrams and starring returning franchise stars Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher and newcomers Oscar Isaac and Lupita Nyong’o.
A first teaser trailer released in November generated considerableexcitement when it showed fleeting snippets of the new film over composer John Williams’ distinctive score.
The 88-second clip from director J.J. Abrams features a handful of scenes with newcomers to the franchise, including John Boyega in a stormtrooper suit, Daisy Ridley on a hovering craft in the desert and Isaac in an X-Wing fighter jet of the Rebel Alliance.
“The Force Awakens” will be set 30 years after “Return of the Jedi,” the third film in George Lucas’ first “Star Wars” trilogy released between 1977 and 1983.
It is part of three new “Star Wars” films being produced by Disney since it purchased the franchise from Lucasfilm in 2012 for $4.05 billion.
The six previously released “Star Wars” films have grossed more than $4.4 billion at the worldwide box office since 1977 and spawned a legion of devoted fans.
" Welcome to New York "Inspired :
A film inspired by the sex scandal that ended Dominique Strauss-Kahn's career comes out in the United States on Friday, but in a doctored version that has enraged the director.
"It's an arbitrary censorship," American director Abel Ferrara told The New York Times. "The illegal version... totally changes the political content of the film," he added.
The movie "Welcome to New York" is widely seen as a fictionalized account of the downfall of the former IMF boss once tipped as the future president of France.
It stars Gerard Depardieu as a man called Georges Devereaux with striking similarities to Strauss-Kahn, whose alleged 2011 sexual assault on a hotel maid in New York shook the world.
The director said he will take legal action over the modified release, which in the United States is distributed by IFC Films, trade journal the Hollywood Reportersaid.
The modified film is 15 minutes shorter than the original, the rape scene is also recast as a flashback and takes place from the maid's point of view, Ferrara's lawyer told The New York Times.
In the original, the guilt of Depardieu's character is apparent, and the director shows zero sympathy toward men in power who have an abusive relationship with women, Hollywood Reporter said.
The film was shown at the Cannes Film Festival and released in Britain last year.
Strauss-Kahn was arrested in New York and forced to live under house arrest for weeks after posting $1 million bail.
Criminal charges were eventually dropped and in 2012 he settled a civil suit, paying the maid undisclosed damages, which reportedly exceeded $1.5 million.
2016 Porsche Boxster Spyder offers 375-horsepower, top-down fun
Porsche’s hottest Boxster at present is the 330-horsepower GTS but by the end of the year the German automaker will have this baby in showrooms: the all-new Boxster Spyder, making its debut this week at the 2015 New York Auto Show. A successor to the 2011 Boxster Spyder, as well as a tribute to the 718 Spyder from the 1960s (notice those delicious rear humps behind the headrests), the latest car retains the unique and unmistakable character of the previous incarnations and injects it with some serious performance.
For example, the classic roadster top is still opened and closed by hand, and the car is only available with a manual transmission, benefiting both weight savings and driver enjoyment. But behind those seats sits a massive—for the Boxster—3.8-liter flat-six tuned to deliver 375 horsepower. That’s just 10 hp shy of the engine’s output in thenew Cayman GT4, a track-focused model from which many of the Boxster Spyder’s components have been lifted.
This includes a firm sport suspension with a 20-millimeter lower ride height, a more aggressive aero kit with larger intakes, uprated brakes and more direct steering. The size of the steering wheel has also been reduced to 360 mm across (down from 370 mm) to ensure the car can be driven precisely and with great agility. The standard seats are Porsche’s grippy Sport Seats Plus.
In line with the model’s traditional roadster character, neither a radio nor an air conditioner is included to help shed a few extra pounds. However, both can be ordered as optional equipment at no cost. You can also add most of the Boxster’s regular options such as a satellite navigation system and communications package.
So what kind of performance numbers are we looking at? Porsche quotes a 0-60 mph time of just 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph.
The Porsche Boxster Spyder reaches showrooms in October, as a 2016 model, and is priced from $83,095. The car’s hard-top sibling, the Cayman GT4, is on sale in July, priced from $85,595. Both prices include a $995 destination charge .

12 SIGNS TO BECOME A TRUE VISIT IN BRAZIL !
2. You’ve mastered the basic steps of forró.
Brazil’s most popular dance is no longer a mystery for you. Forró is definitely easier than samba, equally fun, and allows you to blend in more easily on those nights out.
3. You may not speak Portuguese, but you know how to say “cachoeira” (waterfall).
Every place you go to has at least fivecachoeiras in its surroundings, and almost every second day you get to bathe in one.
4. You know that caipirinha is basically a cocktail sold to gringos who just landed on Copacabana beach.
You still love caipirinha, but after the first two weeks you’ve stopped drinking it because 1. it’s too expensive, and more importantly 2. you’ve learned that Brazilians prefer beer.
5. Any temperature below 22 degrees Celsius is cold to you now.
In your home country you’d still be wearing a T-shirt. Now that you’re in Brazil though, you put on your fleece.
6. You’ve become an açaíaddict.
You display all symptoms of addiction to this delicious frozen fruit paste. You have it for dinner every night. You know to go to Tacacá do Norte bar to get the best açaí in Rio. You’re seriously considering importing it to your home country after you get back.
7. You don’t worry about safety that much anymore.
Yes, you’re aware that Brazil is not the safest country on the planet. But it’s not the most dangerous one either so there’s no point in being paranoid, otherwise you won’t enjoy a minute of your stay. You just leave your valuables at home and watch your surroundings.
8. You can get on a Brazilian city bus with your backpack on.
One of the most annoying things about Brazil are those shoulder-high turnstiles that they have in city buses, which make taking urban public transport with a big backpack on a challenging task, to say the least. After lots of practice and embarrassing episodes, you’ve mastered the art, and can get past that baffle gate without attracting the stares of everybody else on the bus.
9. Mango, guava, and passionfruit are now “the boring flavours.”
You now delight yourself with cupuaçú,umbú, cajá, and mangaba juice. As for apples and pears, you’ve forgotten they even exist.
10. You feel totally comfortable in your Brazilian bikini.
Brazilian swimsuits are not exactly famous for covering your body. At first, this made you feel seriously embarrassed, but you’ve gradually grown accustomed to the sensation. As tiny as it may be, that bikini does cover the essentials, and on a crowded beach it won’t make you stand out.
11. You know where to hike.
At first you were amazed by all those beaches, but Brazil is a lot more than Florianopolis, Ilha Grande, Itacare, or Jericoacoara. When you want to swap your flip-flops for hiking boots, you head to Chapada Diamantina, Chapada dos Veadeiros, or the inland state of Minas Gerais .
12. You know exactly how the fines for overstaying your tourist visa are computed.
And you have them included in your travel budget.
